Have you ever wondered what we all struggle for perfection when appreciation for things that is simple ways is already perfection?
Have you wonder? Okay, Let me tell you a story.
I met this wonderful lady at her Birthday Party, She is already at her 70's but she is a dynamite one to talk to.
One thing that inspires me, that she always believe that Her Shepherd. Jesus will be beside her. She told me why is because she has lost her parents at birth and got adopted. But at the age of 8, she lost her adopted parents so she continues to strive and face her adversity.
Imagine happening that to me? I began to reflect and appreciate things that I have. That I already have.
We need to need to learn to appreciate thing and be contented or else greed will kill us.
True and True we always tend to want more right?
it is because we are human and because our entire brain is govern mainly by emotions.
Yes, GREED is an emotion. it is a feeling of wanting more in spite of having enough.
So when is enough enough?
well, let take the issue like this.
Imagine that you are cooking and you are following a recipe given by your Mom or someone else then you thought that the ingredients or the steps aren't enough.
so you decided to put more of that and more of this.
then you finished cooking the dish and you taste your dish. You are shock because the taste of your dish is different from the original dish? so what happen?
The taste of the dish change because maybe you have cook it different, correct?
so you made a simple dish a complex one.
Einstein mention that
“Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage — to move in the opposite direction. That's been one of my mantras - focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it's worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.”
true and true that simple method or doing things simple is much better than making it complex.
Steve Job also affirm that simplicity is better than complexity:
“That's been one of my mantras - focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it's worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.”
Being simple is one of the keys to success because you make it easier and efficient.
"I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures."
-Lao Tzu
so make things simple.
